(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Metro Police have an offer for assistance from “America’s Most Wanted” in the hunt for suspects in the Hovey Street quadruple murders.
Metro police sergeant Paul Thompson says they are grateful for the help, but are holding off at this point. Thompson says they hope to not need the show's assistance.
Another gruesome Indy murder has been featured on the show. The notorious Hamilton Avenue murders were featured on the show in 2006. In that case, seven people were gunned down in the same home, including three children.
As for the investigation, police still aren't saying much. Thompson says they've gotten dozens of tips about the case. Police are stressing that information can be given anonymously and it will be kept confidential.
This is being called one of the most brutal crimes in city history. The two infants were both gunned down while in their mothers' arms.
