(UNDATED) - The possibility of ten inches of snow/wintry mix falling in across Central Indiana has county highway crews busy.
Street and highway department workers are loading salt trucks and preparing to work around the clock to keep roads passable and bridges safe.
Delaware County Highway Department Operations Manager Duke Campbell says his salt bins are full and crews are mixing in sand to spray on roads.
Hamilton County's Robert Davis says his workers are lining roads with salt brine in preparation for icy conditions.
Area county highway crews are ready to work in shifts all night if the predicted weather hits.
