(UNDATED) - In the wake of devastating floods in North-Central Indiana, state police have sprung into action.
At least three people reportedly have died so far as a result of the rising waters.
Sergeant Kim Riley says they evacuated hundreds of people in White and Carroll counties. Riley admits he has never seen flooding like this in his 20+ years as a police officer.
Riley says they are advising people who live in Monon, Monticello, Blue Water Beach, and Diamond Point to stay away from their homes until the water recedes.
Rain is the forecast through Wednesday, when the area is expecting snow.
There are also reports of flooding along the Indiana toll road.
