(UNDATED) - The last week has been a roller coaster of weather, with temperatures running from below zero to near 70.
Plenty of people have also been sick too. But, is one connected to the other?
One expert says not really. Shawn Richards is the respiratory epidemiologist with the State Department of Health. She says there is no scientific connection between radical weather shifts and people coming down with a cold or, even worse, the flu.
Richards says Indiana is actually having a pretty mild flu season so far. She expects the number of cases to peak near the end of the month.
