(MUNCIE) - Muncie police arrested a man early Thursday after they say he stole cash, costume jewelry and an iPod from city hall.
44-year-old Enest Powers was taken into custody after officials say he admitted he was inside the sanitary division of the government building.
Powers maintains he didn't steal anything though, and claims he was inside the building at 3:00am Thursday morning looking for a circuit court judge. Turns out, that judge's office -- isn't even in the same building.
Powers was preliminarily charged with disorderly conduct, burglary, and resisting law enforcement.
