(FISHERS) - The Hamilton Southeastern Schools have sacked their superintendent.
Board President Jeff Sturgis says Concetta Raimondi's firing is not related to the resignation of Fishers high school principal Scott Syverson, who was charged with drunken driving after a Christmas party at Raimondi's house. Sturgis says the board just wasn't happy with Raimondi's leadership style.
Details of Raimondi's severance package are still being worked out, but corporation attorney David Day says she will receive half of her $150,000 dollar annual salary for the remaining three years of her contract.
Sandra hollinGshead and Mike Reuter are serving in the interim till a new superintendent is found. A nationwide search for a replacement is underway.
