(INDIANAPOLIS) - A plea bargain is coming for the mother of an toddler killed last fall.
Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi says Charity Bailey has agreed to testify against her boyfriend, Lawrence Green, and tell a jury he killed TaJanay Bailey back in November. he three-year-old was beaten to death.
Brizzi says Green was responsible for a pattern of abuse that dated back a year and a half before the little girl's death.
Bailey was initially charged with murder. She is set to plead guilty to a felony charge of neglect in the case.
Brizzi says bailey has been "very cooperative" with investigators.
The pair are due back in court early next month.
