(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service says there are some differences between tonight’s anticipated winter storm and other storms we have endured this season.
Meteorologist Logan Johnson says the biggest difference is the amount of cold air already existing in the region.
Previous storms have entered in warmer air and bringing colder air in the front system.
Johnson says the pre-existence of cold air will slow the frontal system and bring the potential for more snow.
