(SOUTH BEND) - About 600 Indiana University South Bend students and employees have signed a petition protesting a change in Medicaid that essentially made birth-control pills more expensive at university health centers.
Prices for oral contraceptives last year began doubling and tripling at college health centers.
Led by IU South Bend's feminist student union, the petition demands that Congress restore affordable birth control to colleges.
