(INDIANAPOLIS) - If you’re planning to make a trip through the Indianapolis area anytime soon, better make sure you’re sober and everyone is buckled in.
Starting next week Friday, state police will be commencing saturation patrols in Marion, Johnson, Boone and Shelby counties gunning for drunks and seat belt violators as part of their over the limit, under arrest campaign.
Sgt. Anthony Emery of the Indianapolis District says there have already been 86 motorists killed in Indiana so far this year, but that's still down from the more than 100 by this time last year.
