(BAINBRIDGE) - A powerful line of thunderstorms rumbled through Indiana and Putnam County was apparently hit the hardest.
State Trooper Charlie Bowler says the Bainbridge fire station had its entire roof ripped off and many smaller buildings were blown over. Bowler says the fire department has moved some equipment to other areas and work on replacing the roof on the building is expected to begin soon.
Numerous trees and utility poles are down, causing power outages across the area. Bowler says residents in the northern part of the county are still without power.
No injuries were reported.
