(CROWN POINT) - The details have been kept very quiet, but a film crew working on a movie that details the FBI manhunt for John Dillinger will reportedly be shooting some scenes this month in Northwest Indiana.
"Public Enemies," stars Johnny Depp as Dillinger and details FBI Agent Melvin Purvis and the government's efforts to stop a crime wave in the 1930s.
The film will be mostly shot in Chicago. However, a casting notice stated that the Northwest Indiana scenes could be shot any time from now through June.
There will be a recreation filmed in Crown Point of John Dillinger's 1934 escape from jail.
