(INDIANAPOLIS) - With the health risks facing youth today, the Indiana State Department of Health is asking them directly on how to help deal with them.
Over 650 teens from 37 Indiana counties came together at the Indiana Convention Center Thursday to discuss a wide array of the issues they face in daily life.
State Health Commissioner Judy Monroe says health officials and facilitators listened to youth give their ideas on such topics as violence, relationships and sexuality, drug addiction, nutrition and injury.
