(PENDLETON) - Police say a man who was able climb back to the roadway after his pickup truck crashed into a creek was killed when two vehicles hit him.
52-year-old Glenn Barker's pickup truck struck a guard rail on Indiana 9 near Pendleton early Monday. The truck went over a bridge railing and landed in a creek upside down.
Richardson says Barker was able to get out and make his way back to the highway when a passing vehicle hit him. As the driver was stopping, a second vehicle hit Barker.
Barker was pronounced dead at the scene about 20 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
The sheriff says he likely wouldn't file charges.
