(LAFAYETTE) - A gas station and a fast food restaurant were robbed at gunpoint minutes apart in Lafayette late Saturday night.
Three men entered a Long John Silver's shortly before it was set to close at 11:00pm. Five to 10 minutes later, two men wearing dark masks entered a gas station convenience store a couple of blocks away.
Police say the men struck the clerk and injured a customer inside that store. The men fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The customer reportedly suffered from a bump on the head.
Investigators are looking into whether both robberies were committed by the same men.
