(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 35 year-old man died after he was stunned several times by Indianapolis Metro Police with a taser gun.
It happened during an altercation Friday night at a Westside restaurant.
Police arrived at the O'Charley's restaurant investigating the report of a man with a gun causing a disturbance. Police say the man resisted officers and was stunned but then had difficulty breathing.
Officers called for a medic and administered CPR. The man died shortly after arriving at a local hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and the man's name hasn't been released.
One police officer was slightly injured in the incident.
