(MERRILLVILLE) - A heavily traveled stretch of I-65 in Northwestern Indiana will close on Monday.
Bridge repair will force the closure of I-65 just north of i-80-94, also known as the Borman Expressway. Also closed will be five of the eight on-ramps from the expressway to I-65.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has detour signs posted and expects the repairs will take about nine months.
