(MERRILLVILLE) - The stepson of a Merrillville businessman pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to commit murder, and has agreed to testify against his sister and his mother.
20-year-old Daniel Hicks admitted he was the gunman in the execution-style shooting of 33-year-old John Parker outside his vacuum cleaner sales training business.
Parker said he used a gun purchased by his sister, Christina Hicks-Grabski, which was paid for by his mother, Judy Parker.
A June 16th sentencing hearing has been set for Hicks.
