(UNDATED) - Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman has a message for teens…..wait.
She told a group of high school juniors and seniors involved in the Promise to Keep program, that promotes abstinence, that waiting to date, and to have sex will benefit them in the future.
She told the students she waited to date several years after she met her husband-to-be. She also told them she waited for the right time to run for lieutenant governor.
She says the teens involved in the Promise to Keep program serve as good mentors to other teens.
