(GARY) - Homicide detectives in Gary and East Chicago were kept busy by three apparently unrelated shootings that took the lives of four people in less than 24 hours.
The body of a Chicago Heights, Illinois, man was discovered in an East Chicago alley early Saturday morning.
Seven hours earlier, Gary Police were called to a home where a man and woman had been shot to death along with their dog.
Detectives are also looking for the person who shot a 17-year-old Gary boy to death Friday morning.
No arrests had been made in connection with the murders, according to Gary Police Commander Samuel Roberts.
