(EVANSVILLE) - Now that the flood waters are receding somewhat in Vanderbrugh County, the local health department is offering a couple of services to help people whose property may have flooded.
The health department's Dwayne Caldwell says they are offering free tetanus shots.
Caldwell also says people who have wells may now have contamination in those wells from flood waters and the health department will test those wells for free.
He says residents can get a sample bottle and instruction on how to take a sample of the well water.
It will take two-days for the department to test it.
