(LEBANON) - An Indianapolis man is dead after his car was squashed by a semi on I-65.
Boone County sheriff's deputies say 22-year-old Robert Jones was trying to pass a pickup truck when he skidded on the rain-slickened pavement and clipped the vehicle instead.
The impact spun Jones into the path of an oncoming semi. Jones and the semi sailed off the road into a ditch, with the semi landing on top of Jones' Civic.
Jones' girlfriend is in critical condition.
