(ATLANTA) - Indianapolis and the new Lucas Oil Stadium will host the NFL’s Super Bowl 46 in 2012.
The team owners voted this afternoon after hearing the final pitches from Indianapolis and the other bidders: Houston, Texas and Glendale, Arizona.
Indianapolis' bid bragged of big-name music performers, an NFL village and a brand new $9-million dollar athletic facility where teams could workout ahead of the big game-- that facility would be built at Tech High and handed off to the school district after the game.
