(NEW CASTLE) - Authorities claim a New Castle prison guard beat his live-in girlfriend’s daughter in the head while she slept because of her loud snoring.
A court document indicates that 46-year-old Charles Williamson struck the 14-year-old girl four or five times with the wooden handle of a claw hammer.
The girl's mother is being held on a charge of neglect.
