(EATON) - Residents in the town of Eaton can breath a sigh of relief - now that two teenagers suspected of arson are behind bars.
Police arrested 18-year-old Jessie Vaughn and his 17-year-old alleged accomplice Friday morning. The two are believed to have set some 21 fires Thursday morning.
Eaton's assistant police chief said a carport, motor home, minivan , moped and trash cans across the town were among several of things torched by the pair. Police say a tip led to their arrest. One of the hardest hit victims says the motor home they allegedly burned down was worth about $60,000.
The juvenile suspect could face adult charges.
