(LAFAYETTE) - Authorities have boosted the reward for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for the courthouse bombing in Tippecanoe County nearly 10 years.
The reward has been raised from $10,000 to $50,000 dollars. The announcement comes just two months before a 10-year federal statute of limitations for arson and related crimes runs out.
A pickup truck loaded with five or six 55-gallon drums containing gasoline, diesel fuel and other flammable material went through the courthouse in August 1998--causing extensive first-floor damage.
