(VALPARAISO) - Federal authorities say they have indicted 38 people on charges of manufacturing and distributing methamphetamines in Northwest Indiana.
Porter County Sheriff David Lain says more than two dozen people were arrested by midday Tuesday and more search warrants were being executed.
Porter County Police Lt. Chris Eckert says the suspects face federal drug indictments. He says some could face charges for the theft of materials used to make meth and the theft of other property.
