(UNDATED) - Meetings begin today in three Indiana counties hit hard by flood waters. These meetings are for farmers facing an uncertain future.
Deb Abbott with the State Department of Agriculture says farmers have 60 days to apply for USDA low-interest loans. Abbott also says the meetings are to get out as much information as possible.
The first meeting is in Jennings County. Tuesday's meeting is in Knox County. Wednesday's meeting is in Morgan County.
Abbott says the meetings are spread out so farmers from all over the south-central part of the state can participate.
