(GOSHEN) - A Goshen high school teacher drowned Thursday, after trying to rescue a student who got caught in a riptide in Costa Rica.
44-year-old Steven Hershberger was chaperoning a group from Fairfield High School - during a school trip.
He was chairman of school's language department and an assistant tennis coach.
