(INDIANAPOLIS) - The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down for three minutes on the east side of Indianapolis Friday night, destroying most of an apartment complex and causing widespread power outages.
No injuries were reported. Police have set up a command center at the apartment complex while aid agencies continue to help residents displaced by the storm damage.
