(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapois man accused of critically wounding a police officer and beating a well-liked elderly man to death now faces charges in two other murders.
Prosecutor Carl Brizzi says Brian Reese was after drugs when Crystal Jenkins and Demetrius Allen were gunned down July 8th. The home was ransacked and both victims were shot multiple times.
In a statement to police, Brian's father, Paul Reese, allegedly told police that his son had gone to the house to buy some crack cocaine. When he came back he told his father of the shooting.
Ballistic tests indicate a 25 caliber gun and a 38 caliber gun recovered from Brian Reese were used in the murders. Investigators say the 38 caliber gun also matches the one used to shoot officer Jason Fishburn on July 10th.
On Monday, Brian Reese and his father were charged with the murder of 69 year-old Clifford Haddix on July 6th.
Brizzi says police continue to investigate the possibility of Brian Reese's involvement in even more murders.
