(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Department of Agriculture today will honor 79 families with the Hoosier Homestead Award.
The award recognizes families that have owned the same farm for more than 100 consecutive years, with the farm consisting of more than 20 acres or producing more than $1,000 dollars worth of agricultural products per year.
