(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Central Indiana High School football player is the first person to score a touchdown in Lucas Oil Stadium.
Fishers High School runningback Tyler Carroll tells WIBC's morning news he was more focused on winning the game Friday against Noblesville than earning the distinction.
The senior says he marked the touchdown with a short celebration in the end zone.
Carroll says he got to meet Colts' quarterback Peyton Manning prior to the game during the coin toss.
He says the Fishers squad feels honored to be a part of history by playing the first game in Lucas Oil Stadium.
