(INDIANAPOLIS) - Former Indianapolis police officer Anthony Smith made his initial court appearance today.
Smith is accused of raping a 19-year old woman in his patrol car on August 15th. He is charged with 8 felonies, 9 counts in all. He has been fired from the force.
Smith's next court appearance is set for October 21st. His trial will begin October 27th.
