(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly says a new study shows a daily dose of Cymbalta significantly reduces chronic lower back pain.
Results were presented today at the annual congress of the European Federation of Neurological Societies in Madrid, Spain.
Serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain and spinal cord are believed to both mediate core mood symptoms and help regulate the perception of pain.
It is estimated that at least 15 million adults in the United States have chronic low back pain.
