(INDIANAPOLIS) - Summertime heat can be dangerous for those who don’t take the proper precautions.
Staying hydrated, wearing loose clothing, and using sunscreen are critical to protecting yourself from overheating.
Dan Rusyniak of Wishard Health Services says that the best way to protect yourself is staying indoors during peak sun hours.
Those who overheat may start to feel dizzy, confused, and of course, hot. If you are suffering from heat stroke the best thing to do is move indoors, drink liquids, and apply cold water to your body.
