(GRIFFITH) - The tornado that slammed into Griffith Monday was an F-2.
The National Weather Service decided it was a tornado rather than straight-line winds after crews assessed extensive damage Tuesday.
Meteorologists estimate the Griffith tornado moved at 120 miles-per-hour.
