(MUNSTER) - A gas explosion destroyed an evacuated home Wednesday night on Munster’s north side.
Firefighters say no one was near the house when the accident took place.
The explosion also lit fire to two neighboring homes, both empty because of the mandatory evacuation in the neighborhood just south of the Little Calumet River.
