(UNDATED) - It’s that time of year again… time for flu shots.
Dr. Joan Duvey, Director of Human Health Service Division of Indiana State Department of Health gives us the details.
Dr. Duvey says flu season is from now until the end of March. She says it's very important for children and adults over the age of 50 to get vaccinated. The younger the person is the more likely they are to have complications from the flu.
Health care providers should also get a flu shot. Dr. Duvey said other preventative measures include washing your hands and staying home from work or school if you have the flu.
