(UNDATED) - A non-partisan coalition of citizens and corporations promoting permanent property tax reform is asking Hoosiers to talk to their legislators.
The Hoosier Property Tax Reform Alliance is asking voters to talk to legislators and ask them to pass constitutional caps on property taxes in the 2009 session.
The caps need to pass a second assembly session before being voted on in a referendum before it can become permanent.
Alliance President Larry Vaughn says the group is in the process of polling all legislators and will post results on hoosierpropertytaxreform.com.
