(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month.
Juana Watson, the governor's senior adviser on Latino affairs, says many events will be held statewide to celebrate the Hispanic community and culture.
Some of the big events include Fiesta Indianapolis on Saturday, Sunday in Lafayette and the entire weekend in Goshen and Elkhart.
Watson says over 300,000 Latinos live and work in the Hoosier state.
