(INDIANAPOLIS) - It’s a little cheaper now to park at the Indianapolis International Airport.
With the number of parking spaces nearly doubling because of the new Weir Cook Terminal, more options means less cost for travelers.
Airport Spokeswoman Susan Sullivan says it now costs $16 dollars a day to park - before it was $22. Sullivan says the airport will have 18,000 spaces when all is said and done.
Short-term parking will decrease from 16 to 11 dollars a day. There will also be a lot specifically for people picking up passengers.
The Weir Cook Terminal is slated to open November 11th.
