(ROCKVILLE) - Federal investigators continue to look for a convicted murderer who escaped from the Rockville Correctional Facility one month ago.
29-year-old Sarah Pender was serving a 110-year sentence for shooting her two roommates to death in 2000 in Indianapolis. Police say a prison guard and a friend helped Pender escape.
U.S. Marshal Rob Jackson says the case is progressing slowly as authorities interview several people about Pender's potential location.
She is described as a five-foot-eight, 150 to 160 pound white female with strawberry blond hair. You can contact Crimestoppers with tips at 317-262-TIPS.
