(LAFAYETTE) - The city of Lafayette would like to see more green building projects.
Developers, building owners and the public are invited to get an up-close view of the environmentally sustainable redevelopment of a downtown historic building under renovation.
The interior of the building will be environmentally friendly. "Taking The Leed", a series of forums to be held before, during and after the construction of the reuse project, will showcase green design, processes and materials.
The first forum will be held September 17th during Purdue University's "Green Week" and will include an introduction of the project and a tour of the grounds.
