(GREENWOOD) - Three construction companies have been cited in the deaths of three masonry workers in Greenwood last June.
The men were killed and two other workers seriously injured when a concrete block wall fell on them as they were trying to brace it before a storm struck.
Jeff Carter with the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration says all of the workers were employed by either division-four masonry or cornerstone masonry. He says cornerstone has a long history of noncompliance with Indiana OSHA regulations.
Both companies are owned by the same family and based in Brownsburg. Carter says each company was cited for violating 23 regulations in this case.
