Property Tax Main Topic At Tax Seminar

(UNDATED)- The Indiana Chamber Of Commerce hosted its annual tax seminar this week.

Chamber President Kevin Brinegar says they offer updates on tax laws and other issues like court cases.

Brinegar says the main topic of discussion was the property tax restructuring bill passed by the last general assembly.

Brinegar says experts went over the new local referendum section of the legislation as well as the new ways property is assessed.

Brinegar says the new reassessments items will be a major part of next year's seminar as well.
