(UNDATED) - A new national study predicts winter home heating prices will jump 10-30 percent.
Vectren is informing customers who fall within 150-percent of the federal poverty level that they can begin applying now for the energy assistance program. The program will award millions in state and federal monies to help people with their bills.
Additionally Vectren's Chase Kelly says they offer ways to save money through their conservation connection program that offers rebates on purchases of high efficiency appliances.
Kelly says you can also look into budget billing. It averages your yearly bill into 12-equal payments so you know how much you will be expected to pay every month.
