(INDIANAPOLIS) - More than 11,000 Girl Scout members are in Indianapolis this week for the organization’s 51st convention.
The national council session is held every three years, so voting members can make policy decisions. It's also a way for Girl Scouts to connect and share stories about the movement.
This year's meeting includes celebrity appearances by actress Gena Davis and Angela and Vanessa Simmons of MTV's Run's House.
The leadership organization was founded in 1912 and now has about three million girl and adult members.
