(INDIANAPOLIS) - A burglary suspect trying to get away from Indianapolis officers was shot overnight on the northside.
It happened at an apartment complex after a neighbor saw one of the suspects kick-in a door. When police arrived, the suspect jumped into a car with at least one other man--that is when officers say the driver tried to run them down, so they opened fire.
Officers also tased the suspect because he continued fighting after being shot.
Two other men were taken into custody, a fourth suspect may have gotten away.
