(KOKOMO) - The Thanksgiving holiday brought an unusual 911 call to the Howard County Sheriff Department.
The caller reported the theft of a 10 and a half pound turkey from the back porch of his home. The bird was left out on the porch because the refrigerator in the house was full.
The deputy decided to search the area before broadcasting an APB, in this case an "all poultry bulletin."
The frozen fowl was found abandoned in a ditch about 100 yards away from the house with teeth puncture marks, indicating the suspect was four legged, not two legged.
